Burberry has chosen British actors Sophie Kennedy-Clark and Matthew Beard as April’s couple to be the faces of April Shower’s Spring Summer 2011 Ad Campaign.

Shot on Brighton Beach by Mario Testino, British actors Sophie Kennedy-Clark and Matthew Beard will feature across print and online media for the month of April. Sophie is no stranger to fame with her being the daughter of singer Fiona Kennedy and the granddaughter of King of the Highlands Calum.  Matthew Beard on the other hand is best known for his role as Blake Morrison in the 2007 film “And When Did You Last See Your Father?”



Each month’s campaign reveals new British cast members to identify the different attitudes of the Burberry guy and girl. Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey said they wanted to create a dynamic campaign that reflected the diversity of their global consumer.

“We wanted to create a dynamic campaign that reflects the diversity of our broad global consumer, revealing new British cast members each month, all with their own identity, embodying the different attitudes of the Burberry guy and girl. We shot the campaign on Brighton beach to celebrate the great British outdoors and our history of supporting emerging talent and to bring to life the emotion behind protection from the elements.’’

The campaign was launched in January with British models Cara Delevingne and Jacob Young, featuring Jourdan Dunn and Sacha M'Baye in February and Tali Lennox and Tara Ferry in March.
